Students will learn and be able to perform life skills such as goal setting, calculating paychecks, filing tax forms, opening and utilizing bank accounts, researching investments, budgeting, home and automobile purchasing, insurance acquisition, and using credit. By learning about and connecting the curriculum to the current economic trends, students will be involved in hand-on, interactive learning experiences and will fulfill the consumer education requirement for graduation.
