Students will learn practical applications of business laws and customs as they apply to the law-conscious consumer. Topics studied include contractual ownership, consideration, breach of contract and potential remedies, employment law, agency relationships and equal protection and opportunity law. Students are made aware of business responsibility to society and each other in regard to ethical behavior and the treatment of customers.
