Students learn the basic principles of law as applied to personal and business situations and transactions. Emphasis is placed on developing and understanding personal rights, civil and criminal law, buying and leasing goods, the importance of warranties, consumer protection and product liability, and owning a vehicle. Students are made aware of the law of society around them and how, as young adults, they must work within the law.
