“I want to be my own boss.” In this project-based class, students will explore business concepts as they relate to starting and running their own businesses. Students will learn how to prepare a business plan and secure the financing to start a business. Topics covered in the class include promotional activities, research, target markets, financing, business operations, and human relations. The course concludes with a capstone project of a presentation based on the student’s business plan.
