This course meets for 2 periods a day with an early release so students can attend off-campus. Students will attend a cosmetology school for one-half day while attending high school during their senior year. They will complete 350 hours of training during high school in order to qualify for the State Licensing Exam for Nail Technology. Students will study job-related skills, personality, and attitude analysis, taxes, social security, insurance, and employer-employee relationships. This is a cooperative program between District 230, and a certified School of Cosmetology. The course does require a fee to enroll.
