Prerequisite: Successful completion of 1 year of Science and Math 1, preferably Honors Biology and Honors Math 1.
This lab-based course will build upon students’ understanding of the physical sciences integrating algebraic manipulation and application skills throughout the course. Students in Honors Chemistry will focus on the key concepts of matter and its interactions, conservation of energy, thermal energy, and waves and their applications. These key concepts will be learned through the use of the science and engineering practices.
