The student will be exposed to daily life applications of English. The class combines writing and reading in a functional way based on the goals in a student’s IEP.  Functional vocabulary-building activities, listening and speaking skill activities, reading decoding, fluency, and comprehension skills, and functional writing activities are addressed.
